the boyz debuted officially under cre.ker entertainment in 2017 with the first title track ‘boy’.
the group originally consisted of 12 members: sangyeon, jacob, younghoon, hyunjae, juyeon, kevin, new, q, ju haknyeon sunwoo, eric and hwall. in late 2019, hwall announced his departure to debut as a solo artist heo hyunjoon.
